I completed the 2018 identity for Glasgow’s West End Festival. The festival is now in it’s 23rd year and sees over 100 organisations participating and over 350 events in 75 venues across the city's West End. Designed at D8.
For this year’s campaign I created a hero illustration celebrating some of the iconic landmarks which host the events and performances throughout the festival. This was complemented by a suite of patterns using the same geometric shapes from the illustration. These were used to make each section distinct and lend a bright, engaging feel to the programme, a perfect fit for a summer festival!
